What Is the Opus Network?
The Opus Network is an international resource network that connects music programs working for social impact and provides the tools they need to strengthen their impact.
We have found that music programs creating social impact often work in isolation — lacking visibility to funders, access to professional development for both leaders and teachers, data frameworks to measure impact, and connections to peers facing similar challenges. Programs in the Global South and under-resourced communities face these barriers most acutely.
We work with community-based music programs, El Sistema-inspired organizations, luthier and instrument repair programs, and youth development initiatives, with particular focus on supporting leaders and programs from the Global South and communities where music education resources are limited.
